Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the child of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He earned the BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to join the ministry and to serve the Lord.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The ministry has two healing schools located in South Africa.
